Ian Keighley
Ian is a former British Junior International, and has been coaching on the programme for almost three years. He specialises on training our younger development athletes, and prepares his divers for entry to British Diving’s World Class Start Programme. Ian is an ASA Level 2 diving coach, and a British Gymnastics Trampoline Coach.
Craig Hallam
Craig dived to a British Representative Level, and currently competes as a senior athlete. He is a coach on British Diving’s World Class Start Programme, and coaches athletes diving from Novice to National Age-Group medal level. Craig is an ASA Level 2 diving coach.
Hayley Sotheran
Hayley competed as a diver, and was a finalist at both the 1992 Barcelona and 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games. She coaches a team of athletes at Junior International and National Age Group level, and has National Age-Group and Junior International medallists in her team. She also has athletes on British Diving’s Junior Talent Programme. Hayley is an ASA Level 2 diving coach, a British Gymnastics Trampolining and Gymnastics Coach.
Nikki Smith
Nikki is a former Senior National level diver, and is employed as a diving coach by Sheffield City Council. Her athletes compete at levels from regional novice to senior national level. Her Age-Group team have won medals and titles each year since 2003, and she has athletes on British Diving’s World Class Start and World Class Potential Programmes. She has coached on international teams, and is now part of an English Institute of Sport Coach-excellence programme. She is an ASA Level 2 Diving coach, and is a British Gymnastics Trampolining and Gymnastics coach.
Adam Sotheran
Adam works for British Diving and coaches an Age-Group team and a Senior team. His athletes have earned medals and titles at age-group level since 1996, and at a senior and international level since 2000. Adam has athletes on British Diving’s World Class Start, Potential and Performance Programmes. Adam is an ASA Level 2 diving coach, a BGA Trampolining and Gymnastics coach, and is an ASA diving tutor. He is part of UK Sport’s Elite Coach programme.
Chen Wen
Chen has coached in China, Kuwait, Australia and Great Britain. He was responsible for coaching Australian Olympic medallist Robert Newberry before coming to Great Britain and coaching four divers from 2002 until the Athens Olympic Games. He now works with all the Great Britain World Class Programmes.
